Every year, the CSIPM holds its Annual Forum prior to the CFS Plenary Session, warmly welcoming all interested civil society and Indigenous Peoples’ organisations who participate in the CSIPM. This two-days event constitutes a fundamental moment and space for the CSIPM. At the Forum, participants engage in a wide range of debates to assess past processes, to consolidate common policy positions for the present and to identify key challenges and steps forward in our interactions with the CFS. This dynamic environment enables participants to consolidate, refine, and formalize their stance and key messages, which are subsequently presented at the CFS Plenary Session.

Prior to the Annual Forum, the CSIPM Coordination Committee (CC) holds its annual meeting. The Forum is also a space for accountability, where CC members report to all participating CSOs about their work, performance and activities.

Here is essential information to guide your participation in both the 2023 CSIPM Forum and the 51st Session of the Committee on World Food Security (CFS). Please visit this web page frequently, as it will undergo regular updates.
