The Committee on World Food Security (CFS) announced the reconvening of its 51st Plenary Session at the FAO Headquarters (Plenary Hall) on Saturday, 25 November 2023. The session will run from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 14:30 to 20:30, in a hybrid format to accommodate both in-person and virtual participation.
Registration details: All Members, Participants, and Observers who were previously registered for the CFS 51 session in October will find their registrations still valid. However, participants are kindly requested to re-confirm their participation or submit new nominations by sending an email to CFS51-registration@fao.org. The confirmation should include the participant’s name, surname, title, email address, and chosen participation modality (in-person or virtual). This re-confirmation is due by no later than Wednesday 22 November 2023.
Multilingual session: The session will be conducted in Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, and Spanish.
Online participation: For those opting for virtual attendance, once the re-confirmation process is completed, please note that personalized Zoom links will be re-sent to all registered participants.
Webcast for public access: The CFS extends an invitation to the general public to join the proceedings via webcast. A link to the webcast will soon be available on the CFS website at https://www.fao.org/cfs/plenary/cfs51/en/.
