This year the CFS developed the Policy Recommendations on Strengthening Urban and Peri-Urban Food Systems, through draft consultations, Open-Ended Working Group meetings and two rounds of negotiations concluding in July. Throughout the process, the CSIPM Working Group on Urban and Peri-Urban Food Systems has facilitated the participation, gathering input from across constituencies, and drafting a vision document that contains shared priorities, and a compilation of case studies. The Vision Document has been a key tool to guide the Working Group during the negotiations.
Now the Working Group is inviting all CSIPM participants to bring their voices, experiences and demands to finalize our collective vision to strengthen urban and peri-urban food systems. Join the Working Group to share your knowledge and amplify the voices of rights-holders!
